How to Carry Two Cameras at a Wedding Without Straps

Two camera bodies are useful at a wedding for a simple reason: they let you move between focal lengths without stopping to change lenses.

You might carry a 35mm lens for photographs that place people within the scene and an 85mm for portraits and reactions. Alternatively, a 24–70mm and 70–200mm pairing can cover most of the day. The exact combination is personal, but the principle is the same: each camera has a clear role and is ready when you need it.

A second body also provides an immediate backup if something goes wrong. For professional wedding photographers, that alone can justify carrying two.
